SUMMARY
- Data Scientist/Data Analyst role requiring experience utilizing one or more of the follow coding languages: Python, SQL, Scala, R.
- This role is heavily involved in Data Analytics reviewing and analyzing data from the customer platform to ensure its performance and reliability.
- This team works with Platform Ops metrics and KPIs, Syndication, Analytics, Tableau, and SQL.
- Also looking to have some Big data experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use data mining and data analysis tools to review and validate data loaded into data warehouse for accuracy
- Responsible for prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests and for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses
- Measure the platform performance and customers' experience through machine and contact data
- Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to identify new data sets and build new KPI to help understand the customers experience
- Provides technical consulting to users of the various data warehouses and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage
- Collaborate with analysts and engineering on researching and finding appropriate machine learning models to answer more complex questions
- Apply machine learning and parametric statistical techniques to identify outliers, anomalies, and changes in time series data.
- Interacts with user community to produce reporting requirements
- Develop machine learning models or algorithms using R, python or similar tools
- Clearly communicate and present findings
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 - 5 years of IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems
- Experience with Relational Database Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools
- Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts
- Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
- Prefer 3+ years of programming/systems analysis experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
