POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled ESG Data Analyst to join our team. If you are dedicated to sustainability and have a strong background in data analytics, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the creation of an ESG data-mart and the ETL processes that support it.
- Play a key role in projects focused on developing a non-financial reporting system in line with new EU regulations.
- Assist the ESG team in enhancing the reporting system, managing non-financial reports, and auditing ESG data.
- Develop non-financial reporting frameworks centered around key ESG KPIs using advanced data visualization tools and modern management technologies.
- Support financial and non-financial processes daily to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
THIS JOB IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
- You bring at least 5 years of experience in developing reporting systems, with expertise in ESG reporting being a valuable asset.
- You are skilled in SQL and Python, capable of extracting, processing, and analyzing large datasets while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- You excel in using data visualization tools to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- You are familiar with sustainability concepts, decarbonization, and have experience in developing non-financial data management systems.
- You can work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Business Unit Analysts and the ESG team, to ensure compliance with new EU regulations.
- You have a strong understanding of data mapping, data migration, data inconsistencies, and are able to propose and process suitable data migration sets.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including entity-relationship modeling and data flow diagrams.
- Experience in using data models and data dictionaries in a Banking and Financial Markets context
- Experience in Data Quality & Governance
- Technical skills: PySpark, SQL/NoSQL, Python, Jupiter Notebooks, Hadoop, capability of navigating databases especially Hive
- Familiarity with the different data management services and technologies available on Google Cloud platform such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc and Dataflow
