Due to demand and growth, both our Melbourne offices are looking for final-year or recently graduated Accounting students to join us as Graduate Accountants commencing in 2025.

At BlueRock, we want you to start your career off right! You will be building relationships with clients from day one, collaborating with our advisors from the entire spectrum of financial services and will learn how to become a true advisor instead of just a number cruncher.

We asked our current Graduates about a “typical” day in their life and here is what they said you’ll be doing:

• Preparing financial statements (BASs, IAS, FBT Returns) and income tax returns for small business clients (companies, trusts, partnerships)
• Supporting our directors with financial modelling, tax planning and consulting projects
• Reviewing taxation notices and preparing correspondence on behalf of clients
• Liaising with the ATO
• Attending client meetings with your team and attending learning & development sessions
• Working alongside other teams within BlueRock to identify opportunities to collaborate

Requirements

We want to hear from people who:

• Are in their final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
• Hold full working rights
• Have the desire to undertake further Accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with great ambition!
