Sr. Project Controls Engineer

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Sr. Project Controls Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­South San Francisco, CA (hybrid). Details for the position are as follows:

Pay Range: $70-100+/hr (willing to go overrate for the right candidate)
Contract: 1 year (possibility for extension or conversion)
Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Job Description:

• Implement project controls procedures and systems, project controls training and workshops for the project management team and/or contractors.
• Coordinate, lead/supervise and monitor the Project Controls activities of Contractors and other involved parties.
• Implement cost control, total project forecasting, and monthly cash-flow forecast based on the analysis of the actual incurred cost against the agreed budget.
• Monitor cost performance to detect and understand variances from the budget.

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience managing CAPEX/construction projects
