We are looking for a passionate, collaborative and highly motivated SEM Specialist to join our ever-expanding growth team. In this role, you will live and breathe all things search marketing,, bringing to the team a keen eye for innovation and an innate determination to achieve success across all channels. Data analysis will be an inherent part of your performance playbook and you will approach challenges with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.

As the SEM Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the campaign output, optimisation and innovation across Google and Bing. You will collaborate closely with the wider growth team to gain insights on customer behavior, and build the foundations of your new user acquisition approach. Using Data, you will define optimal targets and strategies to deliver growth through this key performance channel and execute effective, measurable and incrementality driving tests to drive continued improvements.

Requirements

What key responsibilities does this role have @ Koala?

• Ownership of performance from key marketing channels Google & Bing
• Attribution project development to define the role of individual initiatives within each platform
• Developing automated solutions using scripts, and testing of Google Beta & Alpha solutions
• Close collaboration with Google & Bing partners to bring to life first to market projects & tools driving best in class search performance
• Maintaining & defending best practice execution across all campaigns, with a keen eye for detail
• Projecting and forecasting performance based on historical data, cross channel attribution, and testing results
• Managing significant budgets against revenue, profit & new user acquisition targets, seeking growth & efficiency.

Ideal Background...

• A self-starting, highly motivated approach is essential.
• 4 - 6 years experience across PPC management with e-commerce exposure.
• Previous experience within competitive ecommerce industries is essential
• Experience in working in fast paced team environments, contributing to successful outcomes.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis across Excel or Google suite and google scripts (python, sql experience beneficial but not required)
• Self learner, with extensive experience in testing & learning on the go
• Entrepreneurial mind-set, with a deep understanding of profitability, and customer acquisition tactics.
• A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
