Quant Intern

Segantii Capital Management is a global, multi-strategy investment management firm. The Firm was founded in Hong Kong in 2007 and has offices in Hong Kong, London, New York, and Dubai.

We are looking for talented and driven quant talent to join us for a 6-month internship in our Hong Kong office.

As part of the 6-month program, interns will be given the unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and gain invaluable insights into the hedge fund industry. They will be encouraged to contribute ideas and show initiative, whilst working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

Interns will ideally be recent graduates of postgraduate studies (PhD or Masters) looking to kickstart their career in quantitative research and development. Current students will also be considered provided they can commit to the program.

Required Background

• Recent Masters or PhD degree graduate in a quantitative subject such as Computer Science, Applied/Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, or related field
• Strong programming skills (Python and other languages)
• Strong communication skills
• Curious, driven and self-motivated
