Job Purpose and Overview

The team primarily focuses on Canned Responses Pro and Chat for JSM products while constantly embarking on side adventures like helping other teams, experimenting with Slack integration, or exploring AI capabilities. You’ll be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle: ideation, design, development, release, and maintenance. Our products are used by thousands of companies from various industries to make their ITSM processes a piece of art, and we will count on your experience and intuition to push them further.

What You Will Do

  • Join a self-organizing, cross-functional product team and cooperate closely with other Software Engineers, Product Manager, Team Leader, and with other specialists like Product Marketeers or Support Engineers.
  • Lead, design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable applications written mainly in Vue.js and Node.js.
  • Follow and establish the best engineering practices: automated testing, code review, pair programming, YBIYRI (you built it you run it).
  • Automate cloud services and configuration management to ensure scalability, operational efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Share your thoughts openly and honestly on what would be the best for the customers and the business: you will be part of discussions about the future of our products and Appfire.
  • Be the change you seek - champion improvements within the team and products, adopting a proactive stance on innovation and process enhancement.
  • Benefit from the seamless access to Support team, quick feedback and direct communication with our customers.

What We Would Like to See

  • Proven record (7+ years) of delivery of multiple scalable, high volume traffic cloud applications.
  • Proficiency in full-stack JS applications. Knowledge of Vue.js and Express.js is highly beneficial, and experience with Java is advantageous.
  • Product-oriented mindset. Our teams shape the products they own and we expect you to influence product-related decisions.
  • Truly engineering approach to solving problems. Good theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g. algorithms and computational complexity, OOP) are super practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of modern Cloud architectures, and practical experience implementing them in AWS / GCP (we use both).
  • Deep architectural understanding of web applications, including performance, quality and security aspects.
  • Desire and ability to mentor other team members and shape the team’s culture.
  • Command of English at level B2 or higher.
  • Experience with MongoDB and DynamoDB. (nice to have).
  • Good understanding of Jira and/or Jira Service Management (nice to have).
  • Knowing how to play Bang! (we really need a new champion :) ).

  • Salary Ranges: Perm (UoP) 22 000- 31 000 PLN gross/month (Possibility to apply for 50% tax deductible costs on creative works- AKUP/IP tax-deductible costs).
