Shift Supervisor

Hire Resolve's Client is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shift and ensuring that production targets are met.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maximize efficiency and output.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of production, including daily production reports and inventory levels.
• Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Blasting Certificate for Opencast Mines
• 5 years experience as a Miner
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
