Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply analytics and quantitative concepts to support investment needs and develop new data and reporting/visualization solutions.
• Work with Risk/Marketing/FA teams with various internal initiatives and projects, including proof-of-concept, prototype and production solutions.
• Develop and maintain programs on source systems, ETL applications, data cleansing functions, systems management functions including load automation, and data acquisition functions among others

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or computational field such as Statistics, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics
• 2-5+ years of experience in analytical development and/or data management
• Full-cycle software development knowledge.
• Proven track record in hands-on development of analytical solutions
• High level of proficiency in SQL and programming tools (R, Python, MATLAB, VBA, SSRS)
• Experience with PowerBI and MS SharePoint development
• Interested in financial markets
• Familiarity with Bloomberg API/BQL is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently
• Timeliness, Consistency, and Accuracy of work is a top priority.
