Job Description:

As a Social Media Campaign Manager you play an integral role within the performance team, as well as the client teams. As such collaboration within these teams will be essential. You will be responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of performance campaigns across your client portfolio, this includes strategy and implementation across all relevant social media platforms (Meta, Twitter, TikTok, Linkedin etc.), etc.

You will be highly analytical, have an acute attention to detail and you are excited to work with market leading technologies. Most importantly, you will be passionate about and driven to deepen your knowledge of all things social media. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, enthusiastic and is flexible with embracing changes and new challenges.

Responsibilities

Strategy

•Keep up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing and how they relate to social media advertising.

•Be well versed in brand safety and viewability as well as be able to implement the required controls put in place to help us protect our client’s brands.

•To be able to interpret the data provided by all the digital marketing platforms to optimize and provide actionable insights and recommendations for better campaign performance.

•Attend training sessions and/or events as determined by your line manager and/or the Mindshare management team.

•Attain and maintain any certifications as outlined by your line manager and/or the Mindshare management team.

•A firm understanding of how digital marketing fits into the media mix and the relationships between digital and other types of media.

•Conduct audience, placement, and platform research to help inform clients paid media strategies.

Operations

•A firm understanding of how to implement and optimize end to end Social Media campaigns across all major platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.) based on brief parameters and media strategy in accordance with best practice.

•Leveraging first party data for targeting and insights

•Proactively identify concerns / issues and assist in problem solving and updates.

•Developing targeting and budgeting recommendations

•Keeping up to date with any changes made to these platforms.

•Experience in working across multiple objectives and utilizing these to align with business goals.

•Have an in depth understanding of the various ad formats and targeting options offered by all major platforms, how they are used to achieve client objectives and how to implement them.

•Produce useful and accurate reporting on all digital marketing activity as and when required by company process, the client and/or your client management team.

•You will be required to manage and control client spends diligently and in line with company process across all Social Media channels

•Ensure that all digital marketing campaigns deliver on internal performance requirements which will be directly linked to client key performance indicators (KPI’s) across multiple objectives.

•Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all company systems and processes that relate to digital media and how these need to be applied in your day-to-day activities. Also, to help refine and improve these processes where possible.

•Leveraging our relationships with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. to assist in the set up and/or optimization of client campaigns/accounts.

Clients and Internal Teams

•Effectively manage stakeholder relationships by ensuring expectations are appropriately defined and well managed.

•Maintain a sustainable positive relationship with clients as well as internal teams

•Reviewing customer feedback information and taking positive steps to address customer concerns.

•Attend client meetings/events as and when required as well as effectively communicate with clients over email, IM or telephonically when needed.

•Work with your account team to ensure compliance with any customer defined service level agreements and performance standards.

•Contribute towards the development of customer Service Level Agreements, service reviews, customer feedback and customer service initiatives.

Essential Requirements

•Social Media certifications (including Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, LinkedIn etc.)

•Extensive knowledge of biddable strategies, understanding of benefits and trade-offs.

•Strong written, verbal and presenting skills

•Excellent copywriting and grammar skills

•Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

•Strong attention to detail

•Marketing background with an emphasis on digital and paid media/advertising

•Ability to work under pressure

•Deadline driven

•Self-Motivated and Organized with a keen eye for detail

•Works well individually and in a team

•Extensive experience with B2C clients

•Knowledge of HTML and User Experience (UX) is a plus

•Google Analytics Experience is a plus
