Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transport Coordinator to manage the logistics and transport operations for our resale business in Poland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the collection and delivery of goods, ensuring efficient and timely movement of stock. This role is crucial in supporting our resale platform by maintaining smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the transport of goods between warehouses, suppliers, and customers.
- Schedule and organize collections and deliveries, ensuring adherence to timeframes and customer requirements.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers and internal teams to manage stock movement.
- Monitor transport costs and negotiate rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and internal policies.
- Track and report on the status of shipments, providing updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues related to delayed or damaged shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and transport-related activities.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize stock handling and reduce transit times.
- Support in managing inventory and stock levels to align with transport schedules.
- Manage all customs-related issues for imports and exports, including documentation, clearance procedures, and compliance with local and international customs regulations.
- Liaise with customs brokers and government agencies to ensure smooth clearance of shipments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport coordination or logistics within a similar industry.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in using logistics management software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills to manage relationships with logistics providers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with B2B and D2C logistics operations.
- Experience in managing customs procedures and export/import documentation.
