Mandatory Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or seven (7) years equivalent work experience.

2. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in systems architecture and design.

3. Expertise in Windows-based systems and applications.

4. Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and services.

5. Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance best pratices.

6. Experience with DevOps practice and tools, including automation, configuration management, and monitoring.

7. Development experience with Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation including Amazon CloudFormation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and Docker.

8. Demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.

9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

10. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

1. AWS and/or Azure certification.

Contractor Responsibilities

The Department is seeking two (2) experienced full-time on-premises, Systems Architects with expertise in Windows-based systems and cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS and Azure. The Contractor Representative(s) will design and implement large-scale, complex systems and applications, as well as a strong understanding of cloud technologies and best practices, based on their proven record demonstrated in the Contractor's Response.

Responsibilities:

· Design, build and implement the Department's Windows-based systems and applications (systems and applications) in AWS and Azure environments.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical designs and plans.

· Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems and applications.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to systems and applications.

· Work with virtualized Windows environment using VMware vCenter.

· Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices for designing and building cloud-based applications.
