Looking for Senior Informatica Developer with strong PowerCenter experience.
Required:
- Previous experience as an Informatica Powercenter Developer is required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
- 8+ years of experience in Informatica design and development
- Strong knowledge and experience with database technology (SQL and Oracle)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Previous experience in designing and developing application integration activities focused on Informatica.
- Requires experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server and Oracle. Familiarity with NoSQL
databases is a plus.
- Strong experience working closely with EDW teams.
- A strong understanding of IT development techniques and processes, a deep commitment to quality and a track
record of delivering projects within successful time and cost parameters.
- Strong technical and project management skills, as well as the willingness to engage in a hands-on way, to provide
specific technical guidance and leadership to the team.
- Strong communications and presentation skills including ability to express complex technical concepts in clearly
understandable business language.
- Ability to present to, and interface with, customers, both business and IT, in order to counsel, recommend and
implement successful, cost effective IT solutions.
- Skilled in technology and systems integration and external partnership development. Must work well with
vendors/outsourcers and be versed in setting standards and measurements for IT processes.
- .Net design and development experience is a plus.
- Experience with .Net design and development, API's, "Big Data” technology, and Azure/Cloud platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop quality integration workflows between multiple applications utilizing our Informatica tools.
- Provide production support and solve complex integrations issues.
- Work closely with the EDW and DBA teams to ensure architectural integrity related to integrations activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders for UAT and Quality Assurance for unit/technical testing.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance within the integrations and specifically Informatica landscape
- Work alongside team members to architect, design and develop quality deliverables.
- Drive results and leverage past experiences to improve the environment and related processes.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork, coach and mentor junior staff.
- Stay current on technology and industry standards, work with leadership to ensure internal standards are being
defined and met.
- Communicate regularly with other managers, the director, line of business leads and other designated contacts
within the organization.
- Report on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.
