About the role
We are currently seeking a full time Shipwright to join our Shore Based Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Engineering manager, the Shore Based Engineer Shipwright assists in the maintenance of vessels, pontoon, vehicles and tenders. The Shipwright could work on but not limited to: Installs of various kinds such as, masts, frames, decking, fittings, machines, shafts and safety equipment. The shipwright may build and install structures such as cabins, seats, fridges, machine mountings, propeller support and rudders.
This role will also require you to determine repair requirements and procedures for a range of vessel fitted items and may make moulds and fabricate and repair vessels using materials such as aluminium, wood, glass, reinforced plastics, carbon fibre, Kevlar, fibreglass and concrete.

About you
The successful candidate will have Proven ability in boat building, shipwright or a marine finisher. You will have experience with high-speed vessel and the requirements for presentation. You will also have high level of marine knowledge as well as installations and experience in conduction risk assessments and introducing practical safety measures. Be a team player and have a positive and adaptable “can do” attitude.
