As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within large national accounts. - <point>Solution Selling: Utilize sophisticated selling techniques such as Challenger, SPIN, and SNAP to identify unmet needs and opportunities for partnership.</point>
- <point>Gatekeeper Navigation: Well-developed ability to overcome gatekeepers and reach decision-makers.</point>
- <point>Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders within large national chains, gather competitor intel, and influence decision-making.</point>
- <point>Planning: Prepare and execute business development plans for each lead, including scheduling and roadmaps for outreach and meetings.</point>
- <point>Proposals: Develop compelling proposals and present them to C-suite executives.</point>
- <point>Negotiation: Negotiate sophisticated deal terms for high-revenue deals.</point>
- <point>Onboarding: Project manage the onboarding process for new groups and follow-up with activation calls to get new restaurants live.</point>
- <point>Administrative Work: Efficiently gather all necessary information and documents from partners, ensuring a smooth transition to active operations.</point>
- <point>CRM Maintenance: Record, update, and check all daily activities in the CRM to provide relevant data for strategic decision-making..</point>
- <point>Analytical Skills: Ability to operate and deliver results with a longer sales cycle (90+ days), and to negotiate sophisticated deal terms with C-suite and build compelling proposals.</point>
