Your future position
Kpler is looking for an Risk & Compliance Analyst within our Ship Tracking Business Unit. The role will involve ensuring a high level of data quality, with the collection, processing and analysis of data related to Maritime Risk & Compliance. You will be requested to follow the main market events and track the specific trends occurring in this space. In addition, you will be working on various projects to develop new features and improve Kpler data quality. This will include day-to-day collaboration with teammates from various departments and different offices globally.
Your mission is to:
- Perform daily checks and edits of risk/compliance data on the Kpler platform to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Assist with compliance investigations and provide reports to customers.
- Monitor key market events, track specific trends, and stay updated on compliance regulations.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from clients relating to data and analysis, gathering feedback.
- Help to prepare whitepapers, and being involved in presentations, webinars and other events.
- Drive continuous improvements to the team’s data quality procedures and a consistent approach to how data quality is measured, monitored and reported.
It will be a match if you are or have:
- Analytical ability, with experience working with databases and ability to highlight trends and use complex data to support decisions.
- You have exposure to/experience in the Maritime or Shipping space.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- You work well in a global team environment, focusing on collaboration and adapting to the needs of a diverse team.
Nice to have
- Experience working with large, disparate and/or unstructured data sets (advanced Excel, BI tools).
- Experience analysing Risk & Compliance Data.
- Experience with Data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
