Taylor Young is partnered with a Global Pharmaceutical company that is looking to Broaden their biometrics team in Germany and is hiring for a highly experienced Associate Director focusing on biostatistics.

Main responsibilities:

  • As a Statistical Project Leader in Biostatistics, you will lead one or more indications/projects in a Therapeutic Area with minimal supervision from the senior statistical project leader or team leader.
  • Mentor the project team while promoting teamwork, quality, operational efficiency, and innovation. Foster a productive work environment and ensure compliance with SOPs and departmental standards.
  • Lead one or multiple indications of a project in clinical development.
  • Ensure productive collaboration with other functions within the aligned project team and with other statistics project leaders, as well as effective communication with senior leadership
  • Represent statistics in cross-functional working groups, contribute to operational process optimization, and provide input on statistical standards.
  • With minimal direction from the senior statistical project leader or team leader, provide statistical support and scientific leadership for assigned projects. Be accountable for the statistical aspects of clinical development plans, studies, and submission activities (when applicable), ensuring quality, relevance to external stakeholders (e.g., regulatory authorities, medical journals), and scientific validity.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • PhD/MS in statistics or a related discipline with at least 6 years of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development, including late-phase clinical development.

Technical Skills:

  • Broad knowledge and strong understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques.
  • Proficient in conducting advanced statistical analyses using SAS or R.

Soft Skills:

  • Demonstrated strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Languages:

  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
