In alignment with the growing targets and needs, we are currently on the lookout for a Platform Engineer to become part of our tight-knit team in Gothenburg. In this team, we are continuously looking to find new ways of working that decrease complexity and provide the tools for team members to do their best work. The position involves working on Java technologies, developing/maintaining our core platform software system (i.e. frameworks, build logic, etc) and facing fresh challenges along with your team members every day. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in the field of software development and eager to contribute & work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation of technical projects as well as contributing to the maintenance of our software platform.
• Collaborate with development teams, working in specific business domains (i.e. Air Content, Payments etc) in order to assist and guide development according to Platform Standards.
• Create and maintain system software documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer.
• System design skills, with the ability to create scalable and maintainable software architectures.
• Experience in designing and implementing distributed enterprise applications.
• Functional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically about complex technical challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• You like to share knowledge, support your team-mates, are curious and willing to learn on things of deep complexity.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Work permit in Sweden or EU when applying for this position.
