DevOps Semi - Senior

We are looking for a DevOps to integrate the software team, who will be involved in different technical aspects of software development projects to generate an integration of security protocols in the development and operations processes of the organization.

We offer stability and flexibility to integrate into work groups and challenging projects for our clients in the financial sector, both public and private (banks, insurance, similar).

Academic/training requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of previous experience as DevOps Engineer
  • Minimum academic training: Complete university, or experience and certifications equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.
  • Primary area of professional training: Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related Engineering.
  • Secondary vocational training area: DevOps and CI/CD, Software development methodologies, SRE, IaC
  • Languages: Advanced English (C1 /C2)

Technical knowledge:

  • DevOps 
  • AWS services
  • Pipelines using Github actions
  • Terraform code ( Including terraform import and migration)

Responsibilities

  • Security Automation

  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities in the company's applications and systems, and collaborate with development teams to remediate them.

  • Manage access to systems and applications, implement role-based access controls, and monitor authentication and authorization.

  • Implement and maintain security monitoring systems to detect and respond to threats in real time, such as intrusions or security breaches.

  • Analyze event logs (logs) from systems and applications to identify suspicious activities or anomalous patterns that could indicate a threat.

  • Develop and maintain a security incident response plan, and lead the response in the event of security breaches or incidents.

Collaboration scheme

  • Type of contract: Direct and for an indefinite period. 
  • Hours: From Monday to Friday
  • Modality: This is a remote job (WFA)
