On behalf of the European Space Agency, we are looking for a highly skilled Management System Support Engineer to work in ESTEC, in the Netherlands.
What is expected from you:
- Laboratories Quality Assurance support
- Maintenance and operation of the TEC Laboratories Quality and Safety Management System (QMS) in accordance with applicable requirements(i.e. ISO-9001). This entails:
- Focal point for ISO-9001 and other certifications for TEC laboratories;
- Coordination, monitoring and reporting quality and safety related aspects;
- Organisation and preparation of management reviews input data;
- Ensuring the proper functioning of the safety processes applied in all TEC laboratories;
- Support preparation and coordination of safety- and risk assessments and dependability analyses;
- Liaising with the ESTEC Health, Safety, and Environmental Unit;
- Organisation of an effective implementation of the laboratories audit programme and supporting the audits;
- Coordination and follow-up of audit findings and related actions in internal tools;
- Organising and supporting the Non-Conformance review boards within the laboratories, conduct root-cause and extent analyses, and contribute to the definition of action plans;
- Organisation and completion of the regular review and timely update of QMS documentation;
- Administer and maintain the laboratories Sharepoint QMS site;
- Liaising with the QMS coordinators of TEC;
- Monitoring the maintenance, calibration and repair activities within the scope of the laboratories;
- Supporting the laboratories in risks- and safety assessments for testings related activities;
- Ensuring that the test execution is executed in line with the TEC QMS;
- Supporting the development of tools to follow-up quality and safety aspects in the laboratories.
What you offer:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in the space sector, including 4 years in Product and Quality Assurance;
- Experience leading quality audits, in particular with regards to ECSS standards and other international standards;
- Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree organizational and communication abilities, and comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.

Where:
You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium. We don’t expect the employees to be on-site full time however you will still have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position.
