About the Role:
As a Growth Marketing Manager at Podium you will play a key role in helping new customers discover and succeed with Podium. The team you’ll be joining focuses on the website product and organic marketing channels, helping prospective customers discover, understand and become a more successful business with Podium. The ideal candidate is a “do-er” eager to make a significant impact, with a passion for introducing prospective customers to a product they’ll love.
Your primary responsibility will be in partnership with our website engineering team and design group developing improvements and new products that help prospective customers find and grow with Podium. This will include work across our blog product, SEO strategy, lead conversion optimization, sales funnel, organic social and our core website product.
This role will work in tandem with the Director of Growth (Website & Organic Channels) to research, identify and build solutions that unlock incremental bookings and drive other core KPIs.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Discovery - Help customers who would succeed with Podium, find Podium
- Identifying and implementing strategies making Podium.com the answer to relevant questions asked by prospective customers to search engines and AI.
- In partnership with our agency this role will deliver SEO keyword and conversion strategies that signal Podium’s authority on the topics most important to the prospective customers.
- Conversion - Help prospects ready to succeed with Podium, get Podium
- Use first principles to distill what prospective customers need from a visit to our website to go deeper with Podium.
- Partner across product, data, sales, engineering and marketing to build and update customer touchpoints to improve conversion.
- Work with website engineering to develop and prioritize a roadmap that best addresses prospective customer needs.
- Optimize high performing website products and pages to drive incremental conversion.
- Execution - This job is about getting things done, a bias to action is required.
- Strong communication is a must as you will be setting up projects, supporting them throughout and taking ownership of their impact and experience.
- Expect to write a lot of source material that drives decision making across design and development, example Product Requirements Documents
- Optimize - Maximize Podium’s impact on prospective customers limited attention
- Build experiments that improve conversion with through proven testing methods
- Partner with design and content to build an experiments roadmap to drive incremental growth
- Analysis - Reporting is not something other teams do for us, we own our impact.
- Build robust reporting (using internal and external tools) that provide timely feedback and speed up our pace of learning
- Regularly share updates on key projects, with detailed reporting enabling informed decision making by partners and leadership
What You Should Have
- 3-5 years of experience in Product or Growth roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- Alignment with our operating principles, embodying a “founder mentality.” You are motivated to make a significant business impact, execute at high velocity and are never satisfied with the status quo.
- Willingness to wear many hats, roll up sleeves and execute to achieve objectives is a must.
- A problem solver with a sharp business mind, passionate about tackling ambiguous challenges.
- A successful track record of leading high-visibility, high-impact projects or business objectives.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional ability to drive cross-functional accountability and action.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience handling ambiguity and prioritizing in a rapidly changing environment.
