Unified Communication Technician - NY, NY/ Onsite
Our client in NY is looking for their next onsite UCC Tech who can deliver unified communications (UC) solutions to support existing & future platforms, product & service functionality & multi-platform integration at client locations. Perform day-to-day installation, service, programming, testing & troubleshooting of UCCX systems which include: Installations, deployments, scripting, & configuration.
Position Details
- Contract with possible contract extension(s) or hire
- Standard Hours: Mon-Fri 8AM5PM EST (OT as needed; nights, no weekends)
- Location/Onsite: New York, NY 10003
Responsibilities
- Install and program UC platforms which may include some or all of the following functionality: Chat; Presence; Voice; Mobility; Audio; Web; Video; Desktop Sharing; Call Control; Speech Recognition; Unified Messaging; Email; Digital Signage etc.
- Installation, Configuration & Administration of Cisco UCCX Solution
- UCCX advanced scripting including Database and third-party integrations
- Scripting techniques involving databases, HTTP, XML, VXML, Java Objects, and Finesse Administration
- Standard and advanced reporting for UCCX
- Finesse desktop and any customization
- Deploying and using custom 3rd party or in-house gadgets to make the Cisco Finesse work as per Customer requirement
- Installation, Configuration & Management of Outbound Dialer
- Installation, Configuration & Management of Agent Email &Agent Web Chat
- Installation, Configuration & Management ASR and TTS
Education/Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Unified Communications (UCCX) systems.
- Industry and manufacturer specific certifications preferred (examples: UCCX; Cisco CCNA Voice/Network Certified, Microsoft MCSE.)
- Proven ability to install, service, program, test and troubleshoot UCCX systems.
- Familiarity and experience of supporting Cisco UCCX Platform and end user issues, service requests
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints, architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents
- Proven skills in reliability and dependability demonstrated through completing tasks on time and with minimal supervision, punctual and present for work, informing appropriate individuals when work will not be completed in agreed upon time frame
- Strong customer/client service orientation with effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely drive company vehicles
