Product Engineering Manager – Billerica, Massachusetts

DISHER is helping to fill a Product Engineering Manager for a leading developer of advanced in-vitro instruments and solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Based in Billerica, Massachusetts, this company provides advanced tools to predict drug performance in the body and enable researchers to make informed decisions early in the development stages.

As Product Engineering Manager, you will get to work alongside and manage people who not only care about producing a quality product, but also nurturing team relationships throughout the process.

What you'll get to do:

Consult with senior leadership to create long-range operating and manufacturing goals
Develop new products from concept to testing to production
Re-work component builds using substitute materials
Modify equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable and efficient
Collaborate with the marketing department to determine market potential for new products
Oversee progress and timeliness of projects
Ensure conformance with Quality Management System
Act as Fulfilment representative to the Development-to-Fulfilment handoff process
Review project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget
Plans and coordinates the work of engineering staff

What will make you successful:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related experience needed
5+ years of engineering experience
2-5 years of engineering management experience
Ability to be an active engineer and team leader
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong electro-mechanical aptitude
Proficiency with SolidWorks and MS Office required
