Marketing Specialist

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Marketing Specialist is a foundational member of our growing marketing team. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to help us drive the execution of a comprehensive channel marketing strategy and build awareness of our brand.

About the role:

The Marketing Specialist will support the Senior Manager in the execution of a comprehensive channel marketing plan aligned to strategic objectives and assist in the development of marketing content that creates strong market awareness for NetNation. Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Perform market research and analyze industry trends, customer segments, and competitor landscapes to inform marketing strategy and advise on how to best reach our target profiles 
• Identify marketing opportunities across channels and collaborate with the channel sales team to align efforts and support customer acquisition, sales, and partnership strategies 
• Collaborate with the product team to create content, support customer retention, and identify upselling opportunities across channels
• Develop and execute digital marketing content and manage our social media
• Develop compelling content for all partner and product marketing initiatives, including campaigns, webinars, conferences, and industry events that differentiate NetNation and our offerings 
• Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (including advertising, event planning, and webinars)
• Create and manage our online reputation
• Implement and conduct customer surveys and focus groups

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience as a marketing specialist or similar role  
• Experience with channel marketing
• Familiarity with product marketing
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google and Facebook ad platforms, WordPress, Salesforce, and ActiveCampaign
• Strong project management skills
