The Billing Analyst is responsible for placing, updating, tracking, and communicating all telecom service orders for client’s corporate and retail locations. You will work in collaboration with our Telecom Expense Management (TEM) provider to ensure the successful delivery of services to locations and users.
- Work closely with many project managers on large scale and volume enterprise deployments to meet customer's unique requirements.
- Work with customers to obtain up-to-date and accurate information before placing orders.
- Perform Move, Change, Delete, and approve orders in TEM systems before placing an official order to Telecom carriers.
- Track, update and communicate all changes to MACD orders to the necessary parties
- Develop project schedules, plans, and processes
- Manage schedule changes related to construction
- Communicate install dates and orders to the necessary parties for access to facilities
- Collaborate with the network team on service installations and service impacting issues
- Investigate billing related issues and solve disputes
- Create and distribute reports to various groups
- Participate in the analysis of service-related trending and develop plans to address systemic or carrier-related issues
- Schedule and participate in weekly status calls with clients, fellow teammates, and carrier providers.
- Ownership and coordination with network team, cross-functional teams, and carriers to schedule installations, circuit activations and testing.
- Big picture view on whole new circuit deployments to ensure client’s business requirements are met, carrier escalation processes documented and communicated to network and other functional teams that require the escalation process to perform their daily jobs.
- Project management of multiple orders simultaneously with a high level of detail, accuracy and quality.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of active transport services and telecom inventory records.
- Manage escalations and expedite with vendors to ensure timely service delivery.
- Ability and courage to prioritize deadlines and openly initiate communications with management team if deadlines appear to be at risk.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience with telecom billing
- Passionate about customer service
- Positive can-do attitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency required (Excel skills)
- Strong understanding of basic Telecom services and terminology
- Sense of urgency with the ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Able to prioritize multiple assignments
