JOB SUMMARY:
The Territory Manager is at the forefront of C3 Industries’ wholesale business, helping drive 3rd party revenue by selling C3 Industries’ products and brands to retailers in the state. As a Territory Manager you will manage and grow existing customer relationships, while also finding and engaging with new customers to enhance our presence in the market. This is a role that requires strong sales ability (leading from a place of authenticity and in service of our customers), data proficiency (make recommendations informed by data and customer needs), and grit (able to navigate shifting priorities and headwinds with determination to succeed).
JOB DUTIES:

- Learn our portfolio of products and brands to effectively drive sales with new and existing customers.
- Have a deep understanding of each customer’s needs – what products and brands are selling well? How can our portfolio of products support our customers’ business objectives?
- Understand the competitive landscape and ensure C3 remains informed of developments and opportunities to grow market share - what trends are we seeing? How can we be proactive and work with our customers to navigate these?
- Implement strategies created by sales leadership and help inform sales leadership’s strategies by providing active feedback.
- Deliver results that hit or exceed established sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Research and engage with prospective dispensary groups through referrals, networking, and cold calling.
- Actively maintain and expand current accounts through frequent contact with decision makers, ensuring sell-through and aligning with customer objectives.
- Participate and drive occasional event participation within the market to promote C3 brands and stay connected to the market at-large.
- Proactively manage expectations throughout the sales process while providing ongoing communication both internally and to the customer to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Build relationships with industry associations, vendors, and other industry contacts to maintain a collaborative reputation within the market.
- Submit sales orders to the accounting team, sales team, and inventory and packaging team to ensure product is accurately accounted for and delivery and payment is scheduled accordingly.
- Communicate with facility teams to ensure knowledge of product, demand forecasting, customer-specific needs and product delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that brand materials/mediums are actively updated and distributed.
- Drive relevant sales KPIs that lead to volume and unit growth, account and door growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Complete various sales-related tasks, both scheduled and spontaneous, within given deadline.
- Execute required processes for sales order processing, data tracking, reporting and sales schedules.
- Participate in internal meetings as needed to develop, inform and foster collaboration internally.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years related experience or equivalent (sales / account management); experience within cannabis a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of progressive trends and best practices in sales.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM software.
- Knowledge of KPI’s and metrics, with an established track record of meeting or exceeding those goals.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, work from alternate locations and work outside normal business hours as needed.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner.
- Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships, operate in an environment of ambiguity, and maintain strict confidentiality.

- Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize.
- Must be 21 years of age and can pass a background check.
- Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.
