Job purpose:
Senior Event & Community Engagement Associate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our company's presence at in-person business and industry events, organizing exclusive roadshows for our Business and IT partner network and corporations, and contributing in the growth and management of our Brand Ambassador program. You will also be responsible for fostering relationships with events’ organizers, membership organizations and communities to amplify our products message.
As a Senior Event & Community Engagement Associate your tasks will include:
o Develop and implement event strategies for the Business & IT industry aligned with organizational goals.
o Conduct thorough desktop research to understand target audiences, market trends, and competitor events.
o Collaborate with key stakeholders to define event objectives and desired outcomes.
o Generate creative and innovative event concepts that resonate with the target audience.
o Design engaging event experiences that align with brand identity and messaging.
o Work closely with Product Marketing and Content teams to safeguard that narratives and key messages are properly communicated.
o Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions.
o Work closely with Events Operations teams to safeguard event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and transportation.
o Manage detailed event timelines and budgets.
o Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of all event elements.
o Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to convey event objectives, expectations, and updates.
o Foster relationships with key partners, sponsors, and vendors.
o Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
o Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for events.
o Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for events and develop mechanisms for measurement.
o Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.
o Prepare and present comprehensive reports on event outcomes.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
