Medical Assistant - Full Time/Gastroenterology/Tampa, FL

This opening is for a full-time Medical Assistant for our Gastroenterology office. Travel required between North Tampa, Brandon and Carrollwood locations. Candidate must be highly organized, have good communication, understand medical terminology, and work well others. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. *Minimum 1 year experience required*  GI experience preferred but not required.

THE KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

• Love of patients and providing excellent care
• Confidential handling of patient’s accounts and records
• Entering data into Electronic Health Records
• Preparing patients for examination and/or procedures
• Adherence to company policies
• HIPAA and OSHA Compliance

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of Medical Assistant program
• Medical Assistant certification is a plus
• High school graduate or GED certificate
• Minimum of 1 years MA experience
• Excellent communication skills including verbal/written, in person and on the phone
