<h1>About the role</h1>The finance trainee will assist and support the finance team in achieving the property goals, maintaining adequate internal controls over all areas of the hotel operations. You will ensure the timely completion of all reports, applicable finance policies and procedures are maintained. Your responsibilities will include preparing the closing balance sheets of the month, journal entries and the reconciliation of the balance sheet in accordance with financial policies and procedures, generate other financial reports and analysis, assist the team in producing all budget packages, maintain accuracy in accounting books, prepare monthly reports and perform general and administrative tasks. You will collaborate with the purchasing and storekeeping department, assisting them in their daily and monthly operations and help the team to develop and maintain strong relationships with the different departments that enable them to drive finance performance and reach financial goals.<br> Program length: 6 months - Start date: February – March 2025 <p></p><h1>What’s in it for you</h1><ul><ul><li>You will have the opportunity to acquire global knowledge of finance management. </li></ul><ul><li>You will get to know the different areas of the hotel and finance department. </li></ul><ul><li>Free accommodation in a shared room; shared apartment. </li></ul><ul><li>Free meal during working hours </li></ul><ul><li>Internship allowance of 500€ gross per month + TIPS</li></ul></ul><h1>What you need to have</h1><ul><li>Enrolled in Hospitality & Hotel Management, Business Management studies, (Diploma, University studies or Master)</li><li>English Fluency (B2+ or above) </li><li>Being an independent speaker of Spanish (B2) will be a plus</li><li>User level of Microsoft Office. </li><li>Attention to details, love for teamwork and good interpersonal skills</li><li>Previous hospitality experience is a big plus</li><li>Eligible to work in the EU / Ibiza</li></ul> •
