We're looking for a Paid Social expert to join our Paid Marketing team. You are perfect for this role if Paid Social is your specialty and your pride and joy. You will own this area, working alongside a marketing team that is highly specialized across other channels.

As Performance Marketing Manager (Paid Social), you will be responsible for scaling and optimizing our paid social campaigns for new and existing customers. Your expertise will fuel our advertising strategy and drive revenue. You will manage and execute Grove’s paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, leveraging data and creative insights to optimize performance.

This role is highly cross-functional—you will collaborate closely with our Creative, Optimization, Analytics, and Merchandising teams to ensure our campaigns are effective and aligned with company goals. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll be empowered to own and lead the paid social strategy, execution, and performance.

The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about driving results through paid social.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

  • You will drive revenue for Grove across paid social channels—acquiring new customers and engaging existing ones—on platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • You will set up, manage, and optimize campaigns across all paid social channels. Occasional weekend monitoring is required
  • You will report on channel performance – pulling data daily and creating a reporting process that will be shared with the broader team
  • You will develop and maintain a testing roadmap for creative, audience, and placements (including copywriting)
  • You will work closely with the Creative team to develop new ads based on your learnings and testing roadmap
  • You will work collaboratively with our Analytics, Influencer, and Optimization teams to improve conversion, engagement, and campaign performance
  • You will work closely with the Merchandising & Inventory teams to prioritize ads based on inventory levels
  • You will manage relationships with external ad reps and networks to contribute to our team goals and to remain updated on best practices across all channels
  • You will contribute to the development of Grove’s brand – ensuring that our ad creatives, messaging and UX leave a clear and positive impression of what Grove does

ABOUT YOU

  • You have 3+ years of digital marketing experience in the DTC/e-comm industry
  • You are a paid social expert, and this is your speciality
  • You have 2+ years of experience managing paid social budgets of at least $100K/month on Meta
  • You have 1+ years of experience writing creative briefs to inform paid social ad strategy
  • You’re comfortable working cross functionally with team members across the Creative, Influencer, Analytics, and Optimization teams
  • You have experience using data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar tool) to analyze data and turn it into actionable insights
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and build strong processes. You’re consistently looking for how things could be improved. You’re hard-working, curious, and eager to turn data into actions
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to change, embracing new challenges and shifting priorities with confidence
  • You are action-oriented and want to make an impact. You follow up to make sure action is being taken when big opportunities have been identified
