The Role
SAP Retail Solution Architect - SAP FMS / AFS / IS Retail / S4 Retail - Germany

• The SAP Retail Process / Solution Architect is responsible for the architecture (overall solution design including end-to-end design, integrations, and data migration) for retail supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Manages all functional and technical workstreams of the project and manages cross-functional design across different modules, and is responsible for the delivery of the overall solution
• Designs Integration of SAP with existing/legacy supply chain systems (Planning, WMS et al) with appropriate integration method
• Drives early adoption of new SAP line of products
• Work closely with the client business and IT teams
• Architecting the solutions for customers SAP opportunities
• Supporting the sale of strategically important SAP deals
• Ensuring SAP engagements are successfully delivered
• Developing other solution team members
• Develop Infosys into new industries, propositions, services, technologies

About You
You design and manage complete enterprise solutions. You demonstrate leadership of topics in the architect community and show a passion for technology and business acumen. You work as a stream lead at CIO/CTO level in a major client organization. You will lead Infosys Consulting operations relating to market development and/or service delivery excellence. You are seen as a role model in the community:

• Extensive SAP experience
• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect on an IS-Retail deployment
• Strong understanding of SAP Retail components such as F&R, CAR / PMR, SNC, MDG, VIM, BODS
• Retail industry experience
• Conceptualize and communicate winning propositions – making complex ideas look simple
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies to clients and within Infosys senior management
• Continuous improvement - Inquisitive – “self teaching” of relevant new business thinking and technology solutions.
• Strong client facing skills and ability to lead a team through all phases of SAP implementation
• Strong executive presence and ability to interact with CxO level
• Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications
