We are now looking for an individual with a track record of educational leadership to join our professional and committed team.</p><p>The International Education Director will bring dedicated, high quality educational expertise to our international team and will oversee all educational aspects of the business in relation to existing and potential schools. The role will be based in Guildford with a requirement to travel throughout the year.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Acting as the main link between RGS Guildford International and its international schools for educational matters.</li><li>Ensuring the schools follow and live up to our educational ethos and standards.</li><li>Supporting the marketing of RGS Guildford International and the development of new schools in line with our strategic objectives.</li><li>Initiating, organising and overseeing collaboration between the schools, including student exchanges and summer camps.</li><li>Developing relationships with the Heads and key academic personnel at our international schools.</li><li>Advising on the educational offer in each school.</li><li>Presenting at conferences and writing articles to promote our business.</li><li>Supporting schools in achieving and maintaining accreditation from recognised bodies such as CIS, COBIS, BOS or BSME.</li><li>Proposing and then operating within an agreed budget for the role.</li></ul><ul></ul><p><strong>In return, we offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits including:</strong></p><ul><li>Circa £80K per annum</li><li><strong><em></em></strong>Potential for hybrid working following successful completion of probation.</li><li>28 days' holiday plus bank holidays.</li><li>Pension scheme with an employee contribution of 5% and an employer contribution of 10%.</li><li>Medical insurance.</li><li>Fee reduction for son(s) of staff is available (after a qualifying period and subject to success at the entrance examination).</li><li>Interest-free loans for rail season ticket holders.</li><li>Excellent lunchtime menu free of charge during term time.</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme.</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar role or be working in a senior leadership capacity within a school.
