Python Developer AWS /Durham, NC, 12 Months Contract

Dynamic Work schedule - This is 3 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. ( They can fly/drive into the office as well). Must Have:

• OOP/OOD - Proficient in Python, Java or C# (Python preferred)
• Experience building and deploying applications using a variety of Amazon Web Services

The Skills You Bring

• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications using a variety of Amazon Web Services (primarily Cloud Formation, serverless, compute, EKS and database services)
• Full-stack development experience across distributed applications and services
• Proficient in Python, Java or C# (Python preferred)
• Ability to apply design patterns and object-orientation to solutions
• Proficient in Unix shell and PowerShell scripting
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs or GraphQL
• Experience performing the Software Development Lifecycle in an agile environment
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (proficiency with Jenkins preferred)
• Good working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence and Datadog is a plus
• Experience with machine learning and AI models is a plus
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS is a plus

The Expertise and Skills You Have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or AWS SysOps Administrator
