Opportunity of this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our growing software development team in India/ Chennai.
You will work in a distributed, international team of product and engineering leaders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive the development of innovative software solutions that meet our business needs.
As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire development process, from concept to deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

The position will report into the global Head of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

§  Lead and manage software engineering teams, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of software projects.

§  Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

§  Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

§  Coordinate with other departments, including product management and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on project objectives and quality standards.

§  Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.

§  Mentor and develop team members, providing feedback and opportunities for professional growth.

§  Ensure adherence to software development and operational best practices and company policies.

Qualifications & interpersonal skills required:

§  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

§  Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

§  Ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively.

§  Experience in agile development methodologies and project management tools.

§  Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

§  Self-motivated and willing to work collaboratively as part of a global team.
