You will work with cutting-edge technologies, leveraging Java 21+ and Spring Boot to build scalable, high-performance solutions. <br></p><p><strong>What you'll get to do:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop, maintain, and enhance microservice applications using Java 21+ and Spring Boot. </li><li>Design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions. </li><li> Work with relational databases, writing efficient SQL queries. </li><li> Develop code to process complex data structures to / from Kafka. </li><li> Ensure best practices in microservice architectures, including API design, scalability and security. </li><li>Collaborate closely with other team members, including DevOps, Front End and Product. </li><li>Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.<strong></strong></li></ul><p><strong>What You need to know:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.<strong></strong></li><li><strong></strong>3+ years of commercial experience in Java development.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Java 21+ and Spring Boot.</li><li>Experience with SQL databases and writing optimised queries. </li><li>Kafka, including schema repository and Avro serialization. </li><li>A wide range of enterprise Java and Spring components, including Spring Data JPA. </li><li>Containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. </li><li>Exposure to stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink. </li><li>Familiarity with SSO mechanisms including OpenID. </li><li>Understanding of core microservice components such as service discovery, API gateway and service monitoring. </li><li>Previous exposure to the gaming / sports betting industry would be a bonus.</li><li>Solid understanding of microservice architectures and best practices.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.</li><li>Ability to pay close attention to detail whilst also seeing the big picture.</li></ul><p><strong>Here's what we offer:</strong></p><ul></ul><ul><li>25 days of annual leave.</li><li>5 days of sick leave.</li><li>Access to learning resources (Udemy, LinkedIn, O’Reilly).</li></ul><p>Our office perks include frequent team-building activities in various locations.</p><p>At EveryMatrix, we're committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
