Structural Engineering Group Manager - Holland, MI

DISHER is currently partnering with an engineering firm in Holland, MI in their search for a Structural Engineering Group Manager. This leadership role offers exciting challenges in structural engineering and opportunities for career advancement.

What you'll get to do:

Lead and manage a team of structural engineers and designers.
Ensure project integrity, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
Guide business and client development activities.
Oversee design calculations, specifications, and CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Utilize RISA-3D for structural modeling and Bentley AutoPIPE for pipe stress analysis.
Handle project administration, including billing and invoicing.
Represent the firm at project meetings and client/site visits.
Coordinate with other disciplines for successful project delivery.
Travel up to 10% annually.

What will make you successful:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
8-10 years of experience, with group management experience preferred.
Professional Engineering license required; SE license and NCEES record preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience in onsite construction support and a solid understanding of steel, concrete, and wood design.
