Responsibilities
- Design and implement a curriculum that is engaging, developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and techniques to meet the learning needs of all children
- Plan and facilitate activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, social and creative development
- Provide a nurturing and safe environment that fosters positive relationships and emotional well-being
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents to update them on children's progress and share best practices for home and school learning
- Support and mentor staff members to promote a positive learning culture and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience teaching young children
- Familiarity with Montessori, Reggio Emilia or Waldorf Steiner educational approaches
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
