About the Role

We are seeking a talented Children’s Song Composer and Vocalist to create two original songs for an upcoming children’s book that will feature audio elements. The ideal candidate will have experience in composing and performing music specifically for children, with an ability to create fun and engaging songs that align with our mission of making tooth brushing enjoyable for kids. This is a remote, mid-level project with a completion timeline of 4-5 weeks. There is potential for future collaboration based on the success of this project.

Responsibilities:

• Compose and produce two original children’s songs that align with the themes of the upcoming book.
• Provide vocals for the songs, ensuring they are engaging and appealing to young children.
• Collaborate with the project owner to understand the desired tone, style, and content of the songs.
• Deliver high-quality recordings of the songs within the 4-5 week deadline.
• Make revisions and adjustments as needed to meet the project’s expectations.
• Ensure the final songs are suitable for integration into the book’s audio elements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in composing and performing music for children, with a portfolio of previous work.
• Strong vocal ability with a style that resonates with young audiences.
• Creativity and the ability to produce fun, catchy, and age-appropriate songs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet the project’s deadlines.
• Openness to feedback and collaboration to ensure the final product meets the desired vision.
• Availability to work remotely with reliable access to recording equipment.
