Job Title: Financial Operations (FinOps) Data Manager

Reports To: Head of Financial Operations, Financial Operations Manager & Deputy Finance Operations Manager

The Job: The Financial Operations (FinOps) department plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial management and operational efficiency of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. This department is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects, ensuring that the event runs smoothly from a financial standpoint and that all monetary activities are transparent, accurate, and efficiently handled.

Hours of Work: 9am – 5pm (may vary in line with operational requirements)

Contract Type / Length: Fixed Term Contract 09th September 2024 – 31st January 2025 (inclusive)

Dates & Location:

• 09th September 2024 – 01st November 2024 – Remote & Chiswick Park
• 04th November 2024 – 14th January 2025 –  Hyde Park (Onsite)
• 20th November 2024 – 05th January 2025 –  Hyde Park (Event Live)
• 15th January 2025 – 31st January 2025 – Remote & Chiswick Park

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily reporting to Head of FinOps (HFO), FinOps Manager (FOM) & Deputy FinOps Manager (DFOM) - current state of play, daily issues, areas of concern, suggestions for improvement
• Use of Looker Studios and Google Sheets
• Data management and the management and maintenance of systems
• Extraction and cleansing of data from various third party sources
• Ensure all systems are being used correctly across the department
• Suggest and implement system architectural changes
• Anomaly and error investigations and resolutions
• Loss prevention checks and investigations (data)
• Oversee data coordinators

Requirements

Including but not limited to:

• Advanced knowledge of Looker Studio
• High competence with Metabase, Power BI or similar preffered

• Flexible approach to work and working to set rota/shift pattern
• Ability to hit the ground running on fast-paced projects
• Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends if required, occasional long or antisocial hours
• Excellent handle of Microsoft Office & Google Workspace products, particularly Excel and Google Sheets
