Description:
We're looking for an experienced Lead/Senior Java Developer (Java/J2EE expert) to work with the Accounting Services team to deliver ongoing development projects. The projects include enhancements to existing applications and may include participation in building new applications. The candidate must be able to work on both the front end UI and back end services. Looking for Sr. Java/J2EE developer experienced with JEE6, Flex, JPA – Eclipselink, OpenMQ and Sybase 12.5/15. Unix/Linux skills should include shell scripting with Kornshell and applications running on Glassfish and Websphere. Below is a list of the technologies used in our application stacks.

Requirements:
Looking for a Lead to direct a team of developers, assign projects based on skill sets of other developers, mentor Jr. developers and can come up with new designs or changes in architecture, etc.
Strong SQL skills – Should be able to write complex stored procedures
Experienced in Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, Continuous Build and Integration
Experienced mentoring and coaching junior developers, especially offshore developers
Strong documentation and communication skills
Exposure to Agile software development and practitioner of Lean principles
Team player and requires leadership skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Desired Experience & Qualifications + provide certification details and should take online Java/J2EE test (from well renowned providers)
Good understanding of Fixed Income and Money Markets; exposure to Exchange Traded Funds is a plus
Experience with rules engines such as Drools is a plus
Willingness to take ownership of a process or application to become the subject matter expert
