We are looking for a Control Room Operator for DC Water (WASA) STRONGLY prefer that candidates have DC First Class Stationary Engineer License (ASOPE and Niulpe licenses will not work). Manager is willing to entertain candidates whove met the requirements to sit for their DC 3rd exam, but theyd have to actually obtain the license before we consider converting them to a FTE.
Alternatively, we could bring someone on who doesnt have a license on a strictly temporary basis. Theyd have to understand that were going to continue searching for someone with a license to fill the position full-time and their temp tenure will be over as soon as the FTE is able to fill the opening.
Please specify with your submittals where your candidate stands in the above mentioned "buckets" for their DC license: a) already have 1st or 3rd, b) getting ready to sit for 3rd, c) don't have either and happy to be on temporarily until they find someone with the licenses).
