Physical Therapist

• Carry out physical therapy programs to help patients relieve pain and improve function from injury and disease to reach their optimal physical abilities to achieve long term health benefits.

• Carry out physical therapy plans of care for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• May effectively work with a variety of age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Maintain licensure through approved continuing education hours as required by the state of Iowa.
• Maintains familiarity with various types of medical insurance and assist with monitoring treatment and authorization limitations from insurance carriers.
• Perform other related duties as required from rehabilitation director.

• Proven work experience as a physical therapist
• Intensive education and clinical expertise
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Drive to continually learn and grow
• Professional behavior
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Completion of an accredited physical therapist assistant program OR physical therapist program.
• Valid Physical Therapist license required (where applicable).
• Graduate from an accredited PT Program.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Excellent Customer Service.
• SNF Experience prefered.
• Valid Drivers License
