What You’ll Do:
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and scalability requirements.
- Define the overall architecture for Salesforce implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Evaluate and recommend best practices for Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for the evolution of the Salesforce platform to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Architect solutions for complex business processes, ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are met.
- Provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring that design, development, and deployment follow architectural principles.
- Mentor and guide Salesforce developers, administrators, and other technical staff on best practices and solution architecture.
- Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with other architects, developers, and teams to design integrations, data models, and workflows across various systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Lead workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring that solutions meet business and technical needs.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (ERP, Marketing Automation tools, etc.)
- Define data models and ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality across systems.
- Oversee the design and management of data migrations and synchronization processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce products, features, and best practices to drive innovation and solution optimization.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing Salesforce solutions to enhance functionality and performance.
- Evaluate new Salesforce technologies and third-party solutions that can enhance the platform’s capabilities.
- Ensure that Salesforce solutions are designed with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Establish and maintain governance practices for Salesforce development, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines, compliance, and security standards.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Salesforce implementations and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development, configuration, and administration, with 3-5 years in an architect or senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including multi-org environments, integrations, and data models.
- Expertise in designing and deploying integrations with external systems, including APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development technologies.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Salesforce Certified Application Architect (Platform App Builder or similar) required.
- Salesforce Certified System Architect or Architect certifications (e.g., Certified Integration Architecture Designer, Certified Data Architecture Designer) preferred.
- Other relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex business and technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of Salesforce professionals.
- In-depth understanding of Salesforce best practices, tools, and technologies.
- Strong project management skills, able to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL).
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce integrations, APIs (REST/SOAP), and middleware tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps processes and Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Jenkins).
- Experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of data security, governance, and compliance within the Salesforce ecosystem.
