<p><strong>Flowers Early Learning</strong>, formally known as Tri-County Head Start,<strong></strong><strong> </strong>located in Southwest Michigan, is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization funded by a federal grant through the Office of Head Start with a mission to be a vibrant and progressive education agency in the communities that we serve.</p><p>Volunteers are the most valuable asset our program has and are critical to the success of Head Start, and Early Head Start. Flowers Early Learning welcomes caregivers, families, friends, and community members to volunteer in our program. Volunteers assist with many classroom and outdoor activities, field trips, and clerical work. Caregivers and community members may volunteer on parent committees and the Policy Council</p><p><strong>Volunteers can participate in several ways:</strong></p><ul><li>Classroom and Outdoor Activities</li><li>Field Trips</li><li>Share Your Own Special Talent</li><li>Landscaping</li><li>Office/Clerical Work</li><li>Sanitization of Classroom Materials</li><li>Parent Committee Meetings</li><li>Policy Council</li><li>Provide Training and Professional Development to Staff</li><li>Designing and Publishing Community Outreach Materials</li></ul><p>Flowers Early Learning, formally known as Tri-County Head Start, also accepts donations of classroom supplies, health and hygiene supplies, office supplies and monetary contributions.
