Job Description:
Main responsibilities
• Responsible for recording material & tooling movement in SVMx according to the different requests;
• Ensure follow up of inventory and restocking activities with SVMx: inspection & certification, cleaning, replacement of damaged assets, material, tooling, consumables, safety equipment etc;
• Support the procurement team in order of products, tooling & consumables;
• Coordinate with the project teams regarding the planning of site material and take decisions related to the site equipment
• Coordinate with the logistic department to prepare the transport, make decisions on the transport of the site material & ensure the conformity of the material shipped according to the different requirements, including packaging, marking and prepare documentation;
• Responsible for receiving material (including unpacking), verify quality & quantity, proceed to the racking and advice QA department in case of anomaly;
• Manage the Client out of the material stored at the Tooling Center to ensure fluidity of operations;
• Ensure correct disposition and handling of material in the Tooling Center.
• Implement and follow up EHS actions for the tooling center
• Manage suppliers presence at building 49 (coordinate maintenance, work) and follow up on invoicing
Key competencies • Technical degree (administration or logistics) with experience in logistics and/or warehouse management or equivalent experience.
• Warehouse and inventory management experience is an asset;
• Strong EHS culture;
• IT skills (i.e. MS Office, Management & tracking system (Maximo, SVMX...) essential
• Bilingual, French and English (Support USA & Canadian work sites);
• 5S/Lean concept knowledge is an asset
• Knowledge of mechanical/hydraulic technical concept/component/tooling is an asset; •
