- Provide technical support for enterprise and banking applications, ensuring their smooth operation and availability.
- Monitor application performance and address any issues or incidents promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems and errors.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to resolve complex issues and ensure effective resolution of incidents.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and testing activities.
- Maintain and update application documentation, including configuration details, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand user requirements for application enhancement and customization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements to optimize support operations.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or its equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Banking applications in Banking Sectors or telecom.
- Operating system fundamentals (Linux, AIX, Windows)
- DBs Basics (Oracle,Ms SQL,DB2)
- Java development
- Knowledge in application servers (Websphere, weblogic, IIS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Problem management and incident management skills
- Knowledge in Oracle applications CRM, ESB etc
