OUR TEAM

This role offers the opportunity to develop under the guidance of some of the best in the industry and gain first-hand experience working on high-profile international brands. The experience of the 25+ team enables us to deliver integrated communications, from corporate, B2B and consumer communications, to digital & social, influencers, analyst relations, content marketing and public affairs. We understand technology ecosystems, consumer and business audiences, and the power of the influencer.

Whether it’s the latest enterprise software or the hottest consumer device, as we progress into a new era defined by the advancements in AI, it’s crucial we continue to tell human-first stories.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The team is looking to recruit a Senior Account Executive to work with some of its leading global technology brands. The role involves working on media relations, network coordination and account management to reach primarily B2B audiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on day-to-day media liaison, developing solid media relationships and managing pro-active and reactive media requests
  • Developing press materials, from press releases and blogs, to Q&As and briefing documents, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Managing junior client relationships, developing a strong rapport with your day-to-day contact
  • Overseeing the creation of coverage and activity reports for clients 
  • Managing press briefings, conferences and similar events for clients
  • Attending and contributing ideas in internal brainstorms
  • Monitoring and keeping abreast of relevant industry news in order to build an understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape and how they impact clients

OUR LONDON OFFICE
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
