 The Compliance Manager’s main objective is to be responsible for overseeing and ensuring regulatory compliance with laws, policies, and procedures related to mortgage and financing operations. Your role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs to mitigate risks and uphold ethical standards within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in mortgage and financing operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters, ensuring awareness of regulations and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, changes in laws, and best practices to adapt compliance programs accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, documentation, and filings as required by governing bodies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, audits, and inquiries related to compliance matters.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in compliance roles within the financial services sector. 
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, laws, and industry standards applicable to mortgage and financing activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations, assess compliance risks, and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to lead and manage compliance initiatives, drive change, and ensure a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Proficiency in conducting compliance audits, risk assessments, and developing compliance training programs.
