Production Associate

Better Future Farms (BFF) is a leading greenhouse company in the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) industry. We are dedicated to sustainable and innovative agriculture practices to produce high-quality, locally-grown products all year round. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Pack Line Associate to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for packaging and preparing our products for distribution. The Pack Line Associate will work closely with the Production Manager and Quality Assurance team to ensure that products are handled and packaged according to our quality standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and machinery, including conveyors, scales, and sealing machines
• Inspect products for quality and remove any defective items
• Label and package products according to customer specifications
• Ensure accurate count and weight of packaged products
• Maintain a clean and organized pack line area
• Adhere to food safety and quality standards
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements

• Prior experience in packaging or production line work preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to operate packaging equipment and machinery
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends as required
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a refrigerated/cool environment
