Our Home is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Finished Goods Handler to join our team of manufacturing professionals on the 3rd shift. As a Finished Goods Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper storage, movement, and preparation of finished goods for shipment. This role involves working Monday - Friday from 11:00PM - 7:00AM.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supply the production lines with raw materials for production in a timely manner
- Wrap finished product pallets and stage them in the appropriate lane for shipping
- Perform material verifications and inventory counts as necessary
- Pick LTL shipments for shipping and record lot numbers
- Count, verify, rotate and put away raw materials as needed. Ensure raw materials are segregated properly (i.e. Organic kept separate from non-organic and Allergens stored properly below non-allergen items).
- Load and unload trucks as directed and apply all labels as needed
- Clean, straighten and organize the warehouse as needed, ensuring 18” white access line is kept clear around interior of building.
- Have the ability to interpret reports and order status sheet
- Restock raw materials once production is done production (ensure pallets are clean, organized, and that all ingredients are labeled.
- Supervise the unloading of bulk deliveries.
- Run floor cleaner and maintain warehouse and shipping and receiving areas free of debris.
- Perform any other duties as required by any Manager, Supervisor and Leads
Requirements
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
